The little stinker curled up in a ball when they went to do the 3D ultrasound pictures. I did get to see the part of his little face that wasn’t covered by knees and toes. We got a good 3D view of “his tiny little bobo” (as Lily called it). I guess the ‘uncooperative in photos’ gene is a dominant one. (see below)
Unfortunately, Jeff is in Atlanta and had to hear the good news via text message. I’m thankful my mom was able to go with Lily and me.
Lily’s response was, “ NO! I don’t want a boy baby. I’m having a girl baby.” Then, she wondered why we weren’t “popping out” the baby. She pretty much had this look on her face all day. I’ll blame her acting like a hellion in Old Navy on the trauma of the situation. We’ll have to buy baby brother something ANOTHER day… once she’s fully processed and accepted her fate.
Mine and Lily’s girly world is about to be turned upside down…. but we (well I) welcome the change. We can’t wait to meet the new little noodle head!
