Lily had a whole week of a personal playmate and bed partner while Jeff’s parents were here. ‘Maow’ at her house for days is about as good as life can get.
We went to Emily’s birthday party. Lily was a little scared of the animals, but informed us that when she is 3… she won’t be scared anymore. She LOVED feeding the baby pig a bottle and LOVED telling everyone about how a baby goat ate her skirt.
Keep Emily and her sweet family in your prayers. Their beautiful home was flooded when we got 10 inches of rain on Wednesday night. If Jeff was out of town, and I was awoken to Lily and I having to flee our house and not being able to DRIVE anywhere…. I would NOT handle nearly as well as I’m sure Shanna did.
She even found time for Papa over the course of the week.
She got a special trip to the pumpkin patch with Maow and Mama. This led to my first port-a-potty experience with a potty trained toddler…. which was quite unpleasant. Lily was much to busy to ever pose for a picture.
Lots of pumpkin fun was had afterward.

Those are great pictures. It looks like she had such a fun time with Maow and Papa. I'm glad there was nice weather while they were here.
Wow, ya'll packed a lot into the week. You didn't even mention the remodeling and painting that you were able to do. Carla and Mark are amazing people and Lily Bug is a blessed little girl to have them as her grandparents. Love, Nana
I bet she WAS sad for Maow and Papa to go after having them so long! Looks like they had a great time!
