Yesterday was the boss-man’s birthday and Lily is OBSESSED with birthdays. She was seriously enraged when she wasn’t able to go to Josiah’s birthday in Minnesota on Wednesday. She kept whining, “We go in your car. Let’s go!”
Luckily, her dad’s birthday was the next day. She was all about his “PARTY”… so I did what I could. We made a ‘We love you dad” sign. Lily wanted to help cut… which resulted in a gaping hole in her favorite green polo dress. She was then demoted to gluing on the letters.
She painted him a giant card.
She picked out his present at HEB. Mini packages of Swedish fish. He’s a lucky man.
I made him a white chocolate cheesecake (Jenni’s recipe). After nap time… Lily couldn’t wait anymore for Dad to be done with work. She sat like this at the table from the moment she woke up. So we ate cheesecake and swedish fish at 4:00 in the afternoon.
It was a WILD party for Jeff’s big 3-2!

Jeff is such a lucky guy to be blessed with two beautiful, wonderful, and creative women in his home. What are swedish fish? Maybe we can fix Lily's dress when I come in Oct. So glad that Jeff had a special birthday.
