I've been busily working on birthday stuff during all nap times. I think Lily's birthday stuff is turning out so cute and it's been a fun hobby for me. Lily's birthday comes but once a year-- so I'm available for hire for YOUR kid's birthday!
Here is the invitation I made using digital scrapbook products from Little Dreamer Designs. The address has been changed in case of internet perverts... good luck finding the right OLSONS in MINNESOTA!
Here is a centerpiece that I created out a formula can, some dowels, photos of the bug's first year, and more 'Little Dreamer' products. Check www.vanillabeandesigns.com next week to see HOW I made it.
This is the full can wrapper.
Of course... there will be antennae instead of party hats at a BUG themed first birthday party. These I made with headbands, pipe cleaners, and fuzzy poms.
I made Lily a special shirt and a tutu to wear at her party... and even made her cousin, Grace, a matching shirt-- so she'll feel special, too.
Iron-on transfers are my new favorite thing. I got carried away and designed Lily a 'born on the fourth of July' tank top with 'little dreamers' liberty kit.
I need to stop before Lily has a 'Lily-Bug goes to the grocery store' shirt!
