Anticipating yesterday was like waiting for Christmas morning...

for Suzanne and me.  The Twilight series, which I became obsessed with last year and led to my becoming a one woman advertising team for the books in the Austin area, have become a movie.

I haven't been this excited for a movie release since Romeo and Juliet and Titanic as a teenager.  Remembering that other teenagers virtually ruined my viewing experiences for those and wanting to avoid all such moviegoers,  Suz and I went to the 11:30 showing at the Showbiz 8 in good old MF.  It was perfect thanks to my incredible Jeffrey (who, by the way, thinks i'm a total nerd for this and has tried numerous times unsuccessfully to hide the books or my booklight to keep me from reading them over and over in bed.) He watched both of our kids on an extended lunch hour.  It felt so decadent to sit in a movie theater during the day and the movie did not disappoint these hardcore fans.  Now we just have to pray it makes enough money to warrant the filming of the other 3 books and wait for those!

LOVED IT!
I went with a group of teachers RIGHT AFTER school on Friday. We were the first ones in line for the 5:30 show and looked like big nerds but I really didn't care. I LOVED IT! Unfortunately I was not able to avoid all of the teenagers. They screamed at the top of their lungs EVERY time Edward appeared on the screen. I probably missed half of the movie because of all the screaming. My mom and my sister couldn't go so I told them I was going to go again with them so that I could hear all the parts I missed due to the screaming. Hope to talk soon!
