Project Runway here I come!

Unfortunately our dryer went out and the new one won't be here until next Tuesday... FORTUNATELY I was over at my parents' house doing laundry and stumbled upon these gems (circa 1994) in an old binder in my closet.

Look how fashion forward I was as a child.  It appears I dreamed up some fabulous pants that have a little elastic band that goes under your heel.  And I can't tell you how many times during my pregnancy I was SEARCHING for an outfit with a built in tie!  I think suspenders with an ankle skirt and hiking boots could become the new 'little black dress'.

I also think it is sweet that I was planning to give modeling jobs to the handicapped  according to my depiction of the model of the 'summer fashions'

Even after all the moves, my parents' home is still a virtual treasure trove of embarrassing memorabilia of my childhood. When you're least expecting it, (like when bringing your future husband over for a visit) you'll find something like this or a cassette tape of a fake radio show you recorded and the dj calls everyone 'sports fans' AND sings the jingle.

It truly is a wonder Jeff still married me!

Oh my gosh. I have tears running down my face from laughing so hard. Those are AWESOME! I wish I had been there when you found them. I probably would have wet myself though.

I really like the lady's hair on the winter fashions sheet. It looks like a neat perm.

Is the lady skiing on the summer fashions page? I can't tell.

I can't wait for Lily to see those one day and laugh at her mom :)

I am so glad you included a pair of shoes with each outfit. I guess you and Suzanne haven't found "The File." I am saving it for a special time with my gradkids. I may not of completed a baby book but I did keep a few treasures. Nana
