I have been living like a person in the olden days for the majority of this week. I came home from work on Monday knowing Jeff would be working later than usual for the next few days. I dread not having a faithful companion waiting on me when I get home, but not having to bargain for the right to watch Oprah and having full use of his desktop computer is nice... I must admit. However, this day I came home, feeling very pregnant, sank into my glider chair only to find that the cable did not work. I wasn't too distraught, I still had much online reading and shopping to catch up on. The horror settled in when the error message appeared that I 'could not connect to the internet'. I immediately called Time Warner Cable to find that the geniuses that work there had switched our May 18th shut off date to April 23rd. I think they may be rivaling Wal-Mart or Taco Bell in their special people employment rates. It took 3 days for them to return to fix their little blunder. After experiencing this, I wouldn't be the least surprised to hear of some crazed subscriber having a psychotic rampage at the TWC customer service office. Its bizarre how slow the time passes with no modern conveniences for entertainment. I did some laundry, spent an evening baking for a school event, re-organized and packed a few tubs for storage, and finished some things for Lily's room. I just made the letters for her wall and I'm in LOVE with them!
Tuesday we will get to see Lily's little face in our 3D ultrasound and close on our house. It should start getting very busy for the Olson family in the next few weeks... too bad all I seem to want to do these days is lay with my feet up.

I absolutely LOVE those letters! They are cuter than any I have seen. I really think you should consider an Ebay business. But really, you won't have a lot of extra time when Lily comes, so maybe not.

Too bad you missed your favorite, Phil "Spacey," on American Idol when your cable was out. I know how much you enjoy him.

I agree with Suzanne, the letters are darling. They would make a great gift for someone, too. You may want to start a business some day. I can't wait for the 3-D ultrasound to see our beautiful Lily.

The letters are absolutely beautiful. You have such a deocrating gift Shauna. We are so lucky to have you in our family. I can't wait to hear about our precious little Lily's 3-D ultrasound experience today.

Wish I could have been there to help you and spoil you when Jeff was gone last week.
