I hope we're ready for this!
For those of you who haven't seen or talked to me or seen or talked to anyone I have seen or talked to... I'M PREGNANT!
Our first ob-gyn appointment is at my 8th week on November the 30th...exactly a year and 10 days after Jeff proposed. We sure aren't wasting any time!
Baby Olson should be here some time around July 9th... so mark your calendars for a trip to Austin, TX. I'm just betting that this kid is going to be quite a cute one. I've already started picking features from each of us that I want it to have. I'm praying that Jeff can provide the eyelashes and metabolism rate...anything else can go either way. Although, I'm hoping there is a recessive smaller nose and smaller feet gene somewhere that can come out.
I had the surreal realization the other day at school standing in line for the copier that there's no turning back now. In 8 months, there will be a little half-jeff, half-shauna in the world.
Needless to say...I'm quite excited!!
